The Role

n

We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join our Interior Design Team in Brisbane.

n

As an Associate, you will be a key leader within Studio 103, responsible for driving the successful delivery of projects while leading and developing high-performing design teams. Working closely with the Design Director, you will oversee multiple projects, champion design excellence, foster strong client relationships, and contribute to the strategic growth of the studio.

n

This role combines design leadership, project oversight, people management, and business development, offering the opportunity to influence both project outcomes and the future direction of the studio.

n

This role reports directly to the Design Director and plays a critical role in mentoring team members, maintaining quality standards, and supporting Studio 103's continued success.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead and oversee multiple projects from concept through to completion.
n
- Drive design quality, project performance and delivery outcomes across project teams.
n
- Lead, mentor and develop designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
n
- Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
n
- Oversee project resourcing, budgets, programmes and quality assurance processes.
n
- Coordinate consultants, stakeholders and project teams to ensure seamless delivery.
n
- Contribute to business development, networking opportunities and studio growth initiatives.
n
- Support the development of studio processes, standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

n

n
- Degree qualified in Interior Design or a related discipline.
n
- 7+ years' experience in a senior interior design position across commercial, workplace, retail, hospitality and/or residential sectors.
n
- Demonstrated experience leading project teams and delivering complex design projects.
n
- Robust people leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
n
- Commercially minded with experience managing project budgets, resources and client expectations.
n
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office 365.
n
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
n
- A strategic thinker who is passionate about design excellence, business growth and team success.
