AWE is currently seeking experienced Surface Load & Haul Fitters & Underground Drill Fitters for opportunities in the Northern Territory. Whether you prefer the pace of underground breakdown work or structured surface maintenance, we've got options to match.

Responsibilities:

n

Surface Roles:

n

n
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing on underground equipment
n
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on equipment, including haul trucks, loaders, excavators, and ancillary gear
n
- Component change-outs (engines, transmissions, hydraulics, final drives)
n

n

Underground Roles:

n

n
- Breakdown diagnostics and fault finding on underground mobile equipment
n
- Maintenance and repair of loaders, trucks, drills, and ancillary gear
n
- Hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting in confined environments
n
- Air-conditioning servicing and repairs
n
- Working in fast-paced conditions with a strong focus on safety and uptime
n

- Competitive hourly rates (up to $100/hr depending on experience)

- Exposure to leading OEM equipment (CAT, Sandvik, Epiroc, Komatsu)

To be considered, you must hold the following:

n

n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
n
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
n
- Experience with mining & heavy equipment.
n
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Mobile Plant, Diesel Fitting).
n
- Ability to pass full pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screening.
n
