The Role

n

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Maternal and Child Health Nurse to join our team and provide high-quality, family-centred care to children and families across Moorabool Shire.

n

In this rewarding role, you will support the health, development and wellbeing of children from birth to school age, working in partnership with parents and carers to provide health assessments, guidance, education and practical support. You will provide advice across areas including child development, immunisation, nutrition, breastfeeding, parenting, maternal health and family wellbeing.

You will also identify individual and family needs, connect families with appropriate community and health services,



and advocate for children and families where additional support is required. The role provides an opportunity to contribute to health promotion, community education and the development of strong community support networks.

About You

n

You are a qualified and passionate Maternal and Child Health Nurse who is committed to supporting the health, development and wellbeing of children and families. Working both independently and collaboratively, you will bring a holistic and non-judgemental approach to supporting families from diverse backgrounds, while contributing to a positive and supportive Maternal and Child Health team.

n
