The role:

n

Mineral Resources is seeking a proactive and technically capable Reliability Engineer to help maximise the performance, availability and lifecycle value of our operational assets.

n

Working closely with Asset Management, Operations, Maintenance, Strategy teams and OEMs, you will lead reliability initiatives that reduce downtime, improve equipment performance and support safe, cost-effective production outcomes.

n

This role is Osborne Park based, working on a Monday – Friday basis; however, site visits may be required from time to time.

n

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Drive the reliability, maintainability and lifecycle performance of MRL's mobile equipment, processes and facilities.
n
- Lead asset performance analysis and reporting, including utilisation, effectiveness, operating condition, remaining practical life, fatigue and cost performance.
n
- Develop and continuously improve Asset Maintenance Plans, including preventative, predictive and condition-based maintenance strategies in line with OEM requirements and the Asset Management Framework.
n
- Analyse CMMS history, telemetry, oil/fluid analysis and other operational data to identify trends, diagnose recurring failures and develop practical engineering solutions.
n
- Provide technical reliability support and advice to Operations, Maintenance and technical teams.
n
- Ensure accurate asset master data, CMMS utilisation and maintenance-task scheduling to support effective reporting,



planning and compliance.
n
- Contribute to Asset Management budgeting, forecasting, purchasing requisitions and resource planning.
n
- Partner with OEMs, engineers and operational stakeholders to resolve asset issues, support acquisitions and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Apply the Life Cycle Asset Management process and contribute to risk assessments, risk management plans and change-management activities.
n
- Champion safe, reliable and fit-for-purpose equipment outcomes that maximise availability, minimise downtime and support production objectives.
n
- Lead and support team members in delivering high-quality reliability analysis, reporting and improvement initiatives

What you'll bring

n

n
- Mechanical Engineering degree or a relevant mechanical, electrical or industrial trade qualification.
n
- Around five years' experience in mining, mobile equipment or a similar heavy-industry environment.
n
- Strong understanding of fleet performance, asset readiness and maintenance priorities.
n
- Familiarity with fleet KPIs, hydrocarbon management, quality assurance and testing requirements.
n
- Practical skills in data analysis, reporting, risk assessment and solving equipment issues.
n
- Clear communication skills and the ability to lead, collaborate and build strong relationships with operational teams.
