Dental X-Ray Receptionist required for Specialist Dental Imaging Clinic.

We are looking for a friendly and efficient receptionist to join our busy growing practice!

n

Dental Diagnostics caters exclusively to patients who require x-rays of the teeth, jaws and face. We specialise in providing the highest quality dental and orofacial imaging, with a relaxed and comfortable environment for both staff and patients. We have two state-of-the-art locations: Chermside and Upper Mount Gravatt, and are open Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5.00pm.

We are seeking a friendly and tech savvy staff member to assist our busy reception and technical teams in a full time role. This position will be based at our Chermside clinic and will require some travel to our Upper Mount Gravatt location occasionally.
n You will be working alongside a highly skilled team of office coordinators, Radiographers, and onsite Radiologists who all work closely to provide the highest quality service to both patients and referrers.

About the role:

- Making appointments for multiple scan types from a range of referrers
n
- Actioning a high volume of phone calls and email requests from referrers and patients
n




- Registration of referring doctors and patients in RIS/Practice Management Software (training will be provided)
n
- Billing patients with both HICAPS and Medicare billing systems
n
- Assisting referrers with access to their patient images and reports
n
- Liaising with staff and referring clinicians for technical support regarding image and report access
n
- Assisting with general clerical duties as requested
n

About you:

n

n
- Previous experience in either Medical or Dental Reception/Administration is required
n
- Dental knowledge is preferred, a Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is desirable (remuneration will be adjusted to reflect Certificate qualifications)
n
- Experience using Practice Management Software in either Dental or Radiology
n
- Experience with either HICAPS and/or Medicare billing
n
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
n
- The ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
n
- Skilled presentation, punctual and reliable
n
- Tech savvy with high computer literacy, and willing to learn new skills
n
