- Remuneration: $71,226.50 to $75,183.64 per annum, plus superannuation & leave loading

Looking for a rewarding, hands on career? As a Works Plant Operator, you'll work alongside an experienced team to deliver road and infrastructure projects, operating and maintaining a range of plant and equipment across the municipality.

About the Role

The Works Plant Operator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Carry out maintenance and repair works on both sealed and unsealed roads.
- Operate a broad range of plant and machinery in a safe and effective manner.
- Perform drainage maintenance across Council’s network, including pit cleaning, pipe and kerb repairs, and open drain clearing.
- Undertake concrete repair works, including grinding, asphalt wedging and reinstatements.
- Safely operate and maintain plant, machinery, equipment, and tools in accordance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.




- Maintain a protected working environment and comply with relevant codes of practice, OH&S; legislation, Council policies, and procedures.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience operating and maintaining plant and equipment used in road maintenance and construction activities.
- Construction Induction Card.
- Heavy Rigid Vehicle Licence.
- Satisfactory National Police Check.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.
- Valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.
