We have an exciting Part-Time opportunity available for customer focused pharmacy assistant to join our friendly, qualified and motivated team.

Role includes some evening work and a day on the weekend. MINFOS POS and Dispensary experience highly regarded.

The primary role of the pharmacy assistant is to

- Assist our customers with their healthcare needs and general enquires.
- Support the pharmacists and dispensary staff.
- Managing scripts in and out.
- Marking off orders and replenishing stock.

Qualifications & experience

- S2/S3 Certificate or Certificate II/III in community pharmacy must be held at the time of application
- Exceptional Customer service and communication Skills
- Dedicated work ethic and strong team player
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised




- Ability to work independently and also effectively within a team & take direction
- Reliable, punctual and enthusiastic work ethic
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Australian citizens only are eligible for this position
- Minimum of 1+ years previous pharmacy assistant experience required

Tasks & responsibilities

- Customer service in all areas of the pharmacy including the News agency/Golden Casket counter
- Follow all correct procedures when processing cash or credit card transactions
- Display working knowledge of health conditions related to pharmacy products and services
- Assist in maintaining a clean and tidy appearance in the pharmacy
- Assist in maintaining stock presentation, including cleaning and shelf labelling
- Assist in unpacking and putting away stock
