Strathpine GP Superclinic – Strathpine QLD Strathpine GP Superclinic is hiring a Medical Receptionist to join our front desk team. If you've worked GP reception before, you'll fit in rapid and we'd love to hear from you. If you haven't but you're sharp, calm and good with people, we'll train you. What we're offering $28 to $35 per hour plus super, set by experience, not a take it or leave it number Full time or part time, minimum 25 hours per week, with a roster you'll know in advance Shifts fall between 7:00am and 5:30pm weekdays (one late close of 6pm), with a shared weekend rotation A big, stable team: 12 GPs, Reception manager, a team of 6 receptionists, practice nurses, 4Cyte Pathology and allied health all in the building, so you're never the only one holding things together Best Practice software with proper training if you haven't used it A practice manager who is on site and answers the phone What the job actually is Front desk: greeting patients, checking in, keeping the waiting room moving Phones: bookings, enquiries, results follow ups, triaging urgency to the nurse when needed Billing: Medicare, DVA, WorkCover and private,



including bulk billing and gap payments through Tyro Keeping doctors' sessions running, chasing no shows and fitting in urgent patients Scanning, recalls, records and the general admin that keeps a large clinic ticking Who does well here You've done GP or specialist reception before, ideally with Best Practice or Medical Director. This is a real advantage but not a deal breaker You stay calm when the phone, the counter and a doctor all want you at once You're accurate with billing and don't guess when you're not sure You're kind to patients who are sick, stressed or having a bad day You turn up, on time, every shift You have availability on weekends About us Strathpine GP Superclinic is one of the larger general practices in the north Brisbane area. We're an accredited teaching practice with 12 GPs, open 7 days from 7:30am on weekdays. Patients come to us for the full range of general practice care, plus chronic disease management, iron infusions, skin checks, travel medicine and allied health. It's busy, it's well organised, and the team has each other's backs.
