Manpower is currently seeking experienced Kitchen Hands to join a busy catering and hospitality team based at a major Defence site in Puckapunyal. This is an excellent prospect to work in a professional kitchen environment supporting daily food service operations.

About the Role

n

You will play a key role in maintaining kitchen cleanliness, supporting chefs, and ensuring smooth daily operations within a fast-paced food service workplace.

n

Roster & Hours

n

n
- Monday to Sunday availability required
n
- Typical start time around 10:00am
n
- Approximately 7.5-hour shifts
n
- Shift times may vary based on operational requirements
n
- Flexibility across all days is essential
n

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and wash dishes, utensils, and equipment
n
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks
n
- Receive, unpack, and store deliveries safely and efficiently
n
- Support the kitchen team with daily operational duties
n
- Follow all food safety, hygiene,



and workplace safety procedures
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar hospitality role
n
- Ability to work a adaptable roster, including weekends
n
- Strong work ethic and reliability
n
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
n
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
n
- A team-focused attitude
n

Essential Requirements

n

Due to the nature of the site, applicants must:

- Be an Australian Citizen
n
- Hold a current driver's licence and have access to reliable transport
n
- Be willing to obtain a National Police Check
n
- Be able to pass any required pre-employment screening
n
