Elsum Family Law is seeking a dedicated Family Lawyer to join our team in Melbourne. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced lawyer to provide exceptional family law services to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

n

Providing advice and representation in all aspects of family law, including divorce, parenting matters, child support, property settlements, and financial agreements

n

Conducting thorough client interviews to understand their unique needs and concerns

n

Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as affidavits, separation agreements, and court orders

n

Engaging in negotiations and mediation

n

Representing clients in court proceedings

n

What we're looking for

n

Australian legal qualification and current practicing certificate in Victoria

n

Minimum 2 years of experience in family law

n

High level of knowledge in family law and ability to apply this to complex cases

n





Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong relationships with clients

n

Ability to work collaboratively with other lawyers and staff to provide a high level of service and support to clients

n

Excellent organisational and time management skills

n

Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

n

Solid attention to detail

n

Commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping up to date with changes in family law
