Key responsibilities

n

- Surgical chairside assisting
n
- Assisting with dental implant surgery
n
- Wisdom tooth and complex dental extractions
n
- Bone grafting and sinus grafting procedures
n
- Exposure and bonding of impacted teeth
n
- Oral pathology and biopsy procedures
n
- Procedures performed under local anaesthesia and sedation
n
- Preparation of surgical instruments, equipment and operating areas
n
- Instrument sterilisation and infection control
n
- Pre-operative and post-operative patient care
n
- A small amount of admin
n

- Experienced in dental assisting
n
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
n
- Calm, professional and confident in a surgical environment
n
- Caring and reassuring with patients
n
- Reliable and punctual
n




- Able to anticipate the needs of the surgeon during procedures
n
- Committed to an exceptionally high standard of cross-infection control
n
- Meticulous with sterilisation and surgical preparation
n
- Comfortable working within a specialist clinical team
n
- Willing to learn advanced surgical techniques and equipment
n
