About the role
Noosa Heads Medical is seeking a VR General Practitioner to join our practice in Noosa Heads, Queensland. This is a contract position offering flexibility and autonomy for an experienced GP looking to maintain a sustainable work-life balance in a beautiful coastal location. You will work on a billings model of 70-75%, allowing you to benefit directly from your clinical productivity whilst enjoying the benefits of working within an established, supportive medical practice.

What you'll be doing
- Providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients across a range of acute and chronic conditions
- Conducting patient consultations, diagnostic assessments, and developing individualised treatment plans
- Managing preventative care, health screening programmes, and chronic disease management
- Maintaining accurate and timely medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborating with allied health professionals and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care
- Contributing to the professional and collegial culture of the practice through peer support and knowledge sharing
- Participating in continuing professional development and maintaining clinical competency standards
What we're looking for
- Current AHPRA Registration with General or Specialist Registration
- Demonstrated experience as a General Practitioner in primary care settings
- Strong clinical knowledge and capability across a breadth of general practice areas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and healthcare colleagues
- Flexibility, reliability, and commitment to providing quality patient care
- Ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a team environment
