ORK Design is a growing interior design studio specialising in high-quality commercial workplace interiors, refurbishment projects and premium fitouts across Sydney and nationally.

We are looking for a talented Interior Designer to join our team and work across a diverse portfolio of exciting projects for leading property groups, landlords and corporate clients.

n

This role would suit a confident designer with strong technical and creative skills who is looking to take greater ownership of projects and continue developing within a cooperative studio environment.

The Role

n

n
- Working closely with our Director and senior design team, you will be involved across all stages of the design process, including:
n
- Developing test fits, space planning and design concepts
n
- Preparing concept presentations, finishes and FF&E; selections
n
- Producing detailed architectural and interior documentation
n
- Preparing tender and construction documentation
n
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers
n
- Attending client meetings, site meetings and project inspections
n
- Reviewing shop drawings and responding to construction queries
n
- Supporting projects from initial concept through to completion
n
- Managing design tasks, deadlines and project deliverables
n
- Mentoring and supporting junior designers where required
n

About You

n

n
- We are looking for someone who has:
n




- Proven Strong Local Interior Design Experience
n
- Strong experience within commercial workplace, office fitout or refurbishment projects
n
- Strong space planning and technical documentation skills
n
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD preferred
n
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
n
- A good understanding of finishes, furniture and material specification
n
- Strong attention to detail and design presentation skills
n
- Confidence communicating with clients, consultants and contractors
n
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
n
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach
n
- A genuine interest in commercial interiors and creating thoughtful, highly considered spaces
n
- Experience working across projects from concept design through tender documentation and construction will be highly regarded.
