Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Audiologist/Audiometrist role based at Specsavers stores in Dandenong and Endeavour Hills, VIC. The role involves conducting comprehensive hearing assessments, interpreting test results, and providing clear recommendations tailored to each customer’s needs. You will fit, adjust, and maintain hearing aids and related devices, ensuring optimal comfort and performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with store teams to deliver seamless customer experiences, maintaining accurate clinical records, and adhering to professional and regulatory standards.



The role also includes educating customers about hearing health, supporting follow-up care, and contributing to continuous improvement in clinic processes and service quality.

Qualifications

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Audiology or Audiometry, with current skilled registration or eligibility to practice in Australia.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting hearing assessments, fitting and verifying hearing devices, and managing ongoing hearing care.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain clinical information in an accessible, respectful manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary retail and clinical environment, and to adapt between Dandenong and Endeavour Hills locations.
- Solid organizational and record-keeping skills, with attention to detail and commitment to clinical governance and ethical practice.
- Comfort with using clinical equipment and digital systems, including audiology software for testing, fitting, and documentation.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and follow Specsavers’ clinical protocols and quality standards.
- Prior experience in community or retail hearing care settings is advantageous but not essential.
