Job Title: Experienced Middle Eastern/English Cook / Chef

Location: Bentleigh East, VIC

Job Type: Casual 4 Days a Week, Monday to Thursday from 9.30 am to 2 pm.

Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation: Prepare and cook authentic Middle Eastern and Levantine dishes using fresh, quality ingredients.

Kitchen Standards: Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and allergen control procedures.

Service Efficiency: Work calmly and efficiently under high pressure during busy service hours.

Team Support: Assist with stock rotation, inventory control, and keeping the kitchen clean and organised.

Requirements & Skills

Experience:



Minimum 2 years of commercial kitchen experience, with specific background in Middle Eastern, Lebanese, or Mediterranean cuisine or English Cafe/Restaurant.

Knowledge: Deep understanding of spice profiles, grilling, and traditional preparation methods.

Qualifications: Valid Food Safety Supervisor certificate or relevant culinary qualifications.

Work Vibe: Strong team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Work Visa: Must have valid work visa to work in Australia.
