Key responsibilities

- This is an opportunity to join a purpose-driven team responsible for ensuring procurement activities are compliant, timely and aligned with operational readiness and emergency management requirements.

- You will work across a diverse range of procurement projects, partnering with operational teams, technical specialists and suppliers to deliver procurement outcomes that support critical assets, logistics, infrastructure and emergency response capability.

- As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will provide expert procurement advice, manage multiple concurrent sourcing activities and help strengthen procurement governance and capability across the organisation.

- You will also supervise and develop one direct report while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance procurement performance and service delivery.

What you need

n

- Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications.
n
- Tertiary qualification in procurement, commerce, business, law, contract management or a related discipline (desirable).
n
- Significant demonstrated experience and a successful track record delivering end-to-end procurements in a complex workplace, including successfully applying Victorian Government procurement policies and processes.
