Build your career in trade sales and security technology

Help installers and trade customers choose the right CCTV, security and networking products, turn enquiries into orders and build relationships that bring customers back. We are hiring for our Guildford and Mulgrave branches in branch-based sales roles, working with customers in person, by phone, email and text.

RhinoCo Technology is an established Australian wholesaler with more than 48 years of industry experience. We supply professional installers, integrators, electricians and other trade customers, backed by an experienced technical support team.

What you will do

- Welcome trade-counter customers, understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
- Prepare accurate quotes, follow up enquiries and ask for the sale.
- Build repeat business by keeping in touch with customers and identifying their next requirements.
- Work towards agreed sales and service targets while protecting margins.
- Process orders, check stock and delivery information, and keep customer records accurate.
- Learn our products and work with the technical team on more complex questions.

What you will bring

- Confidence speaking with customers and writing clear, professional emails and messages.




- Strong everyday computer skills and the ability to learn quoting, order-entry and customer-management systems.
- A sales mindset: you enjoy helping customers, following through and working towards targets.
- Reliability, attention to detail and a willingness to learn technical products.
- Experience in retail, customer service, trade sales, electrical, electronics or IT is useful, but security‑industry experience is not required. We welcome people starting a sales career and those building on existing experience. Product knowledge can be taught; curiosity, follow-through and technology confidence matter from day one.

Pay, training and progression

$70,000–$90,000 base salary plus superannuation, depending on relevant skills and experience.

Performance bonus of up to $8,000 a year, paid quarterly against agreed service-quality, accuracy and quote‑conversion targets.

Training in products, quoting, customer communication and systems.

Opportunities to develop into experienced trade sales, account management or technical product roles.

Consistent weekday hours with no weekend work.

Positions are available at our Guildford branch (577 Woodville Road, Guildford NSW 2161) and our Mulgrave branch (9 Hannabus Place, Mulgrave NSW 2756). These are on‑site roles. Hours at both branches are Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with no weekends.
