Maintenance Technician to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business.
Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery Diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical faults Troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment Carry out equipment servicing, repairs and adjustments Respond to breakdowns to minimise production downtime Assist with continuous improvement and maintenance projects Maintain a safe and compliant working workplace Work closely with production and other maintenance team members
About You We are open to candidates from either an
electrical or mechanical background .
You will ideally have:
Trade qualification as an
Electrician or Mechanical Fitter Previous experience in
manufacturing, FMCG or food production Strong mechanical or electrical fault-finding skills Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance The ability to work independently and as part of a team A proactive approach to identifying and resolving equipment issues Strong commitment to safety and quality
Electrical candidates:
PLC, sensors, motors, VSDs and automated machinery experience would be advantageous. Mechanical candidates:
Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics and production machinery would be highly regarded.
