About the Role

As a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at LRH, you will contribute to a dynamic service providing high-quality maternity, gynaecology, and reproductive health care to a diverse regional population. You will work within a collaborative team of O&G; consultants, registrars, midwives, nurses, neonatologists, anaesthetists, and allied health professionals. Your responsibilities will include: Specialist obstetric care

- antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal management, including high-risk pregnancies. Gynaecological assessment and treatment

- outpatient clinics, procedural work, and elective/emergency surgery. Clinical leadership

- supervision of junior doctors, registrars, and multidisciplinary colleagues. Collaborative care

with primary care, maternity services, paediatrics, and community partners. Service development

- contributing to model-of-care improvements and strategic planning. Quality improvement and governance

- participation in audit,



safety initiatives, and peer review. Education and research
