Actech is a fast-growing, Australian family-owned business supplying premium building and construction products—specialising in concrete-related solutions—with branches in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth. We are seeking a determined, hands-on, and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic Accounts team in Pascoe Vale, VIC.

About the Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take true ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable function across the Actech network. You will work closely with both Accounts and Operations to ensure accurate, timely processing of supplier invoices, execute payment runs, drive process improvements, and maintain strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities Invoice & Costing Management:

Process high-volume supplier invoices for goods and services, matching purchase orders and delivery receipts. Prepare landed costings for imported stock and conduct margin analysis (item costings vs. sell pricing).

Payment Runs & Cash Flow:

Prepare and process regular and ad hoc payment runs (EFT and multi-currency international payments). Prepare payable commitments to support cash flow reporting.

Reconciliations & AP Ageing:

Reconcile supplier statements, monitor AP ageing, maintain accurate supplier records, and manage approvals.

Stakeholder & Supplier Engagement:

Build solid relationships with suppliers and internal teams, proactively resolving queries and discrepancies.

Process & Systems Improvement:

Support the implementation and enhancement of AP policies,



finance systems, and OCR technologies. Contribute to setting AP-related KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You Experience:

3+ years in an Accounts Payable role within warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, importing, or construction environments.

Systems Expertise:

Proven experience using ERP Accounting software for AP workflows, with exposure to OCR technology being highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with solid experience in landed costings, multi-currency processing, and complex reconciliations.

Attributes:

Highly organised with strong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage competing deadlines.

Communication:

Confident, collaborative communicator who thrives on building relationships and delivering quality service.

Qualifications:

Relevant qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV/Diploma in Accounting) are welcomed, though practical experience and operational capability are prioritized.
