We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Hire Controller to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised professional who enjoys building relationships, coordinating equipment hire, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As a Hire Controller, you will be the key point of contact for customers, managing the hire process from enquiry through to delivery and off-hire. Working closely with customers, drivers, and operational teams, you will ensure equipment is supplied efficiently while maintaining high levels of service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage incoming customer enquiries and rental bookings
- Coordinate equipment availability, deliveries, and collections
- Prepare quotes, contracts, and rental documentation




- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth project deliveryAccurately process rental transactions and customer records
- Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts
- Support branch operations and contribute to team success

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in hire control, customer service, logistics, transport coordination, or a similar role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- High attention to detail and robust administration skills
- Experience using ERP, rental, or inventory management systems (desirable)
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
