The Vertigo Co. is a dedicated Vestibular Physiotherapy clinic focused on the assessment and treatment of vertigo, dizziness and balance disorders.

Founded by Director and Principal Vestibular Physiotherapist Laura Power, The Vertigo Co. provides care for patients with a diverse range of vestibular presentations, including:

Vestibular Migraine

n

Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD)

n

Vestibular Neuritis and other peripheral vestibular disorders

n

Complex dizziness, imbalance and falls presentations

About the Role

n

We are seeking an experienced Vestibular Physiotherapist to join The Vertigo Co. on a casual basis.

n

This is an opportunity to work within a dedicated vestibular practice, managing a diverse and engaging vestibular caseload.

n

The role offers flexibility around hours and scheduling, with access to structured onboarding, established clinical protocols, mentoring and ongoing clinical collaboration.

n

We are looking for a physiotherapist with established vestibular experience who is confident working independently while valuing collaboration and ongoing professional development.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Conduct comprehensive vestibular, oculomotor and balance assessments.

n

Assess and treat BPPV using appropriate positional testing and repositioning manoeuvres.

n

Develop and implement individualised vestibular rehabilitation programs.

n

Manage acute, chronic and complex vestibular presentations.

n

Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and correspondence using Zanda.

n

Liaise with General Practitioners, Neuro-Otologists, Otolaryngologists, Neurologists and other referrers to support continuity of care.

n





Provide clear education and reassurance to patients regarding their diagnosis, management and rehabilitation.

n

Deliver a professional, compassionate and patient-centred experience consistent with The Vertigo Co.'s clinical standards.

About You

n

Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.

n

Minimum 5 years' clinical experience as a physiotherapist.

n

Minimum 3 years' experience in the assessment and treatment of vestibular disorders.

n

Completion of a recognised competency-based vestibular rehabilitation course.

n

Demonstrated confidence in the assessment and treatment of BPPV and vestibular rehabilitation.

n

Strong clinical reasoning and confidence managing complex vestibular presentations.

n

Excellent communication, documentation and organisational skills.

n

Professional, empathetic and committed to providing high-quality patient care.

n

Highly regarded:

n

Experience working within private practice and/or neurological rehabilitation.

n

Additional postgraduate education or career development in vestibular rehabilitation.

n

Experience managing complex dizziness presentations, including BPPV, Vestibular Migraine, PPPD and various other complex vestibular disorders.

n

A valid driver's licence is preferred but not essential.
