This is a varied role combining weighbridge operations, transport coordination, customer service and general administration. You will play an key part in keeping daily operations running smoothly while working closely with customers, drivers, yard staff and management.
Key responsibilities
- Operating the weighbridge and accurately processing vehicle weights and transactions
- Preparing weighbridge dockets, RCTIs and customer paperwork
- Answering incoming phone calls and emails
- Assisting customers with enquiries
- Booking and coordinating scrap metal collections
- Scheduling skip bin deliveries, exchanges and collections
- Coordinating tray truck and other transport movements
- Liaising with drivers, customers, yard staff and management regarding daily logistics
- Processing customer payments and managing the till
- Managing and reconciling petty cash
