We are seeking an experienced and reliable Yard Hand to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hands on role suited to someone with strong warehousing or yard experience who is confident in operating a forklift and holds a HR licence.

The Yard Hand will play an key role in the day-to-day operations of our yard, ensuring scaffolding orders are accurately prepared, returned goods are checked and trucks are safely loaded and unloaded.

Key Responsibilities:

- Picking and packing scaffolding orders for customers.
- Conducting quality checks on scaffolding and goods returned to the yard.
- Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe yard.
- Assisting with general yard and warehouse duties.
- Occasionally completing deliveries and pickups using company trucks.
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures and company requirements.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Current Forklift Licence – essential.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in warehousing, yard operations or a similar enviroment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of safe manual handling and workplace practices.
- Scaffolding industry experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
