You will take progressive ownership of premium leading retail accounts over a structured six-month transition — attending every buyer meeting alongside the Managing Director, introduced personally, with full ownership from month six. From there you own the outcome: sales, gross profit, range and execution. Own-brand development, including the varied good-better-best option sets that give buyers real choice. Price architecture across every list and tier. Range reviews, negotiations, promotional programs and launches. You will also build the education and schools channel, where relationships have been commenced and revenue is expected within your first year, alongside emerging opportunities in healthcare wholesale and corporate.

About you

Five-plus years managing major Australian retail accounts, with demonstrated growth

Strong command of pricing, gross margin, rebates and trading terms

Genuine understanding of the premium sector — positioning, merchandising, and holding margin rather than discounting

Sharp forecasting and analysis, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint

Plan, then execute with clear communication and commitment to dates

Relationships in hardware, education, healthcare or corporate channels highly regarded
