Job Summary

n

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Finance Testing Analyst to support

n

testing activities for PeopleSoft Financials applications. The ideal candidate should

n

possess strong functional knowledge of finance modules, expertise in test planning

n

and execution, and experience in validating end-to-end business processes across

n

Finance systems.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

 Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and design

n

documents related to PeopleSoft Finance.

n

 Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data for Finance

n

modules.

n

 Execute functional, system integration, regression, and user acceptance

n

testing (UAT).

n

 Validate end-to-end financial business processes and system integrations.

n

 Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.

n

 Collaborate with Finance SMEs, Business Analysts, Developers, and Project

n

Managers to ensure quality deliverables.

n

 Support application upgrades, patches, enhancements, and production

n

releases.

n

 Prepare test execution reports, defect metrics, and test status updates.

n

 Participate in requirement walkthroughs and provide inputs for test strategy

n

and coverage.

n

 Ensure testing compliance with organizational quality standards and

n

processes.

n

Required Skills

n

 Strong experience in PeopleSoft Financials Testing.

n





 Hands-on knowledge of one or more PeopleSoft Finance modules:

n

o General Ledger (GL)

n

o Accounts Payable (AP)

n

o Accounts Receivable (AR)

n

o Asset Management (AM)

n

o Cash Management (CM)

n

o Billing

n

o Procurement / Purchasing

n

o Expenses

n

 Experience in creating and executing test cases and defect management.

n

 Understanding of financial business processes and accounting principles.

n

 Experience with integration testing and end-to-end finance workflows.

n

 Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing.

n

 Experience using ALM, JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar test management

n

tools.

n

 Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

n

Preferred Qualifications

n

 Experience in PeopleSoft Financials upgrades (PUM/Image updates).

n

 Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, or Tosca.

n

 Exposure to ERP testing methodologies and Agile/Scrum delivery models.

n

 Understanding of reporting tools and interfaces associated with PeopleSoft

n

Finance.

n

 Finance domain certifications or accounting background will be an added

n

advantage.

n

Educational Qualification

n

 Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science,

n

Information Technology, or a related field.

n

Nice to Have

n

 Experience working with global finance transformation projects.

n

 Knowledge of Oracle databases and PeopleTools.

n

 Exposure to cloud-based testing environments and DevOps practices.
