Female Complex-Care Disability Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced

female disability support worker

to assist a participant with complex physical and healthcare needs. Due to the participant’s intimate personal-care requirements and preferences,

this is a female-only role.

Key responsibilities

Personal care, continence care, dressing and hygiene

PEG feeding, water flushes and PEG medication

Clinical observations and blood glucose monitoring

Seizure management and emergency response

Hoist transfers, repositioning and pressure-area care

Light household cleaning and laundry

Accurate care records, progress notes and escalation of concerns

Working closely with the Clinical Manager and following all care plans

At least two years’ hands-on disability or complex-care experience

Experience with PEG care, seizures, hypoglycaemia, continence care and manual handling

Relevant qualification or current nursing/allied health studies

Current First Aid, CPR, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check and Australian Driver Licence

Nursing and allied health students with relevant hands-on complex-care experience are encouraged to apply.

This is not an entry-level role. Please do not apply unless you have direct complex-care experience, as applicants without the essential experience will not progress to screening.
