Based in Northbridge, this part-time role (3 days per week, 0.6 FTE) is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract.

About the Role Karlup is Ruah's integrated healing and recovery service supporting women, children and young people impacted by family and domestic violence.
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based therapeutic interventions within a multidisciplinary, trauma-informed service. The role plays a critical part in supporting healing, recovery, emotional wellbeing and resilience for clients experiencing the impacts of trauma and violence.
Working closely with counsellors and other professionals, you will provide clinical leadership, supervision and consultation, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and support integrated approaches that recognise the interconnected impacts of violence on mental health, relationships, identity, parenting and child development.

part-time position (0.6 FTE, 3 days per week)

Northbridge
and offered as a
12-month fixed-term contract .
What You'll Be Doing
Deliver specialist psychological assessments, formulations and therapeutic interventions
Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based support to women, children and young people impacted by family and domestic violence
Develop and review treatment plans that promote recovery and wellbeing
Provide clinical supervision, mentoring and consultation to counselling staff
Support multidisciplinary case discussions and integrated care planning
Contribute to service development, clinical governance and continuous improvement activities
Promote culturally safe, inclusive and recovery-oriented practice
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
A tertiary qualification in Clinical Psychology
Current registration as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA
Eligibility to provide Board-approved supervision
Experience delivering therapeutic services within mental health, trauma and/or family and domestic violence settings
Strong assessment, formulation and intervention skills
Experience providing clinical leadership,
supervision or mentoring to practitioners
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
The ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Highly Regarded
Experience working with women and children affected by family and domestic violence
Knowledge of attachment, child development and complex trauma
Training and experience in EMDR or other evidence-based trauma therapies
