Aura Assist is a registered NDIS provider committed to empowering people with disabilities to live with confidence, connection, and independence. We're currently looking for a compassionate, proactive support worker to assist a client in the Campbelltown area.

About the Role:
n
We're seeking a support worker to assist a client living with mental health challenges who is looking to build confidence, re-engage with the community, and work on daily living goals. The ideal worker will be someone calm, supportive, and proactive — with the emotional intelligence to build trust and help create secure, empowering routines.

Your Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Provide respectful support with personal care and day-to-day routines
n
- Support community access (e.g., appointments, shopping, social outings)
n
- Use active listening, grounding, and reassurance strategies
n
- Promote independence — assist with, not for
n
- Encourage confidence, self-worth, and small wins
n
- Be someone the client feels safe and heard with
n
n
About You:
n
n
- Cert III in Individual Support (Disability) or related field, or ongoing degree in Nursing, Allied Health, or Social Work
n
- Previous experience supporting clients with mental health challenges
n
- Strong communication and emotional intelligence
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check & Orientation Module
n
- Valid First Aid & CPR certifications
n
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
n
- Driver's license (own car preferred)
n
