We're looking for a skilled and reliable Qualified Carpenter to join our team full-time and contribute to a wide range of residential and commercial projects.
About the Role
As a Qualified Carpenter, you'll carry out construction, installation and maintenance tasks across varied job sites. You'll work closely with our director and team to deliver quality workmanship, maintain safe work practices, and uphold the standards our clients expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Carpentry works including framing, fit-off, heritage repairs, cabinetry, office fit-outs and maintenance
- Reading and interpreting plans, drawings and specifications
- Working collaboratively with the team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
- Maintaining a safe, organised work environment and following all WHS requirements
- Supporting and mentoring apprentices
- Contributing to continuous improvement across our processes and workmanship
What You'll Bring
- Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification)
- Proven experience as a Qualified Carpenter
- Robust understanding of building codes, safety regulations and industry standards
- Competence with hand tools, power tools and technical drawings
- Good problem-solving skills and clear communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
