Rapidcool is growing and we're looking for a qualified Electrician / Solar Technician to join our local team.

If you're an Illawarra tradie who's sick of travelling to Sydney, spending hours in traffic or working for companies sending crews all over NSW, this could be a great fit.

We offer full-time, stable local employment, with the majority of our work throughout the Illawarra. You'll work alongside our own full-time team across quality solar, battery, EV and electrical projects – not just basic solar installs day after day.

About the role

n

You'll work across:

n

n
- Residential solar installations
n
- Battery storage & hybrid inverter systems
n
- Solar upgrades and expansions
n
- Switchboard upgrades & electrical work
n




- Inverter and battery commissioning
n
- Blackout & whole‐home backup systems
n
- Fault finding and servicing
n
- EV chargers & energy management
n
- General electrical and air conditioning‐related electrical work
n

n

We install quality systems including Sigenergy, FoxESS, GoodWe, Aiko and Jinko, with a strong and growing focus on batteries, backup systems and smart energy technology.

n

What we're looking for

n

For qualified applicants:

n

n
- NSW Electrical Licence
n
- Solar installation experience
n
- Battery experience highly regarded
n
- SAA accreditation highly regarded
n
- Good fault‐finding ability
n
- Pride in producing neat, quality work
n
- Good communication with customers and the team
n
- Current Australian Driver Licence
n

n

OR – if you're a strong 4th-year apprentice, we're happy to hear from you. Solar experience is preferred, and there's an opportunity to continue developing across solar, batteries and electrical as you finish your trade.
