About the Role This unique role combines Theatre Orderly responsibilities with Stores and Inventory Coordination duties.





You will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of our theatre setting by assisting with patient movement, theatre preparation, stock management and logistics.

No two days are the same. You'll be involved in both frontline operational support and behind-the-scenes coordination that helps keep our surgical services running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Theatre Support

Prepare operating theatres for daily surgical lists

Assist with patient transfers and positioning

Transport patients between theatre and recovery

Support theatre teams throughout operating lists

Clean and prepare beds, theatre areas and equipment

Replenish consumables and clinical supplies Assist with medical gas cylinder replacement

Support theatre flow across multiple operating theatres

Conduct stock checks and inventory monitoring

Place orders and manage purchasing administration

Receive, unpack and distribute supplies

Monitor backorders and supplier deliveries

Maintain organised storerooms and stock control systems

Support purchasing and invoice administration processes

Ensure clinical areas remain fully stocked and operational

About You We're looking for someone who is hands-on,



dependable and enjoys working as part of a team.

Strong organisational and time management skills

Good computer literacy and confidence using systems and technology

Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Comfortable undertaking physically active work and manual handling tasks

Theatre Orderly or Hospital Orderly experience

Assistant in Nursing (AIN) experience

Stores, inventory or logistics experience

Healthcare, hospital or day surgery experience

Experience using purchasing or procurement systems

Knowledge of medical terminology
