We are seeking caring and qualified Kindergarten Before and After Care Educator to join us in making a positive impact through promoting curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning in every child.
n
This is a Monday to Friday with shift times of 6:30am-8:30am and 2.00pm-6.00pm per week during the Kindy term (39 weeks of the year). Then shifts of7.5 hours per day (negotiable shift), Monday to Friday, during Vacation Care (9 weeks of the year). At an hourly rate between $35.21 - 38.03 per hour (Level 3 School Officers Award) commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications.

Your Role

- Care for Kindy children, before and after regular Kindy Hours
n
- Supervise children, ensure sign out and safety procedures are adhered to, and follow our Behaviour Development policy
n
- Greet and interact with parents whilst ensuring the safe collection of children from the Service
n
- Help maintain a safe, caring, and inclusive environment
n
- Support children's wellbeing and encourage positive behaviour
n
- Work collaboratively with a passionate and supportive team
n
- Participate in a spiritually vibrant culture aligned with the College's Christian mission and values.

About You
n
n
- A practicing Christian with the ability to actively support and promote the College's spiritual ethos
n
- A genuine passion for working with children and enhancing their learning and wellbeing
n
- A positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
- Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
n
- As a minimum, a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (or working towards these qualifications)
n
- National Child Safety Training (GECCKO)
n
- First Aid plus CPR (as well as asthma and anaphylaxis management)
n
- A thorough knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
