UFS Healthcare is seeking a Retail Coordinator to lead our retail team at our busy Sturt Street Pharmacy. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced supervisor, team leader or manager who enjoys developing people, creating accountability, and delivering outstanding service.

While pharmacy experience is welcome, it isn’t essential. We’re looking for someone with strong leadership capability, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to bring out the best in others. We can teach pharmacy products and processes. What we’re really looking for is someone who knows how to lead a team, manage competing priorities, and create a positive and productive workplace culture.

The Opportunity

Location: Sturt Street Pharmacy, Ballarat
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 6pm

As Retail Coordinator, you’ll work closely with the Pharmacy Manager to lead the day-to-day retail operations of the store. You’ll support, coach and develop team members, ensure high standards of customer service, coordinate rosters and workflows, and help drive the overall success of the pharmacy.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll spend time on the floor supporting your team, solving problems, managing priorities, and ensuring customers receive an exceptional experience every time they visit.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Leading, coaching and motivating a team of retail staff
- Creating a positive, high-performing and accountable team culture
- Managing day-to-day store operations and workflow priorities
- Coordinating team rosters and supporting workforce planning
- Delivering exceptional customer service standards
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and ongoing staff development
- Assisting with performance management, feedback and coaching conversations
- Monitoring stock levels, merchandising and inventory management




- Ensuring operational, quality and compliance standards are maintained
- Working closely with the Pharmacy Manager to achieve business and customer service goals

- Experience leading, supervising or managing people in a customer-focused environment
- Proven ability to engage, motivate and develop team members
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The confidence to have difficult conversations and hold people accountable
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Sound computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly

Highly Regarded

- Experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, healthcare or similar environments
- Experience with rostering, workforce planning or inventory management
- Community pharmacy experience or a Certificate III/IV in Community Pharmacy
