Employer: Trisha Foods Pty Ltd t/a Red Rooster The Retail Manager plays a pivotal leadership role within The Trisha Foods Pty Ltd, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Red Rooster Forest Lake restaurant to drive operational excellence, team performance, and profitability.

This full-time position is essential for maintaining high service standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimising costs and inventory, and enhancing customer experiences in a fast-paced quick-service setting, ultimately supporting the business's ongoing success and growth in the local community. Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to company policies and high service standards.
n
- Lead recruitment, training, supervision, rostering, and performance management of staff to build and maintain an efficient, motivated team.
n
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction by promptly addressing feedback, resolving complaints, and implementing service enhancements.
n
- Control inventory levels, coordinate stock orders, and manage supplier relationships to ensure product availability and minimise waste.
n
- Oversee financial aspects including sales monitoring, budget management, cost control, and contribution toward profit targets.
n
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety regulations, and all relevant legislation.
n
- Plan and implement promotional activities, merchandising, and local marketing efforts to boost customer traffic and sales.
n




- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and staff performance, and prepare regular reports for owners and management.
n
- Provide robust leadership to foster a positive, collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, productivity, and continuous improvement.
n
- Maintain outlet presentation, cleanliness, merchandising standards, and overall appearance in line with brand requirements.
n
- Coordinate front-of-house and kitchen operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery.
n
- Monitor local market conditions, customer demand patterns, and tourism activity within the Forest Lake region to support business growth and sales.

Qualification & Experience

n

- Bachelor's degree qualification (minimum)
n
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar retail or hospitality management role
n
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Excellent customer service focus and problem-solving abilities to handle feedback and resolve issues effectively.
n
- Sound financial acumen, including experience in budgeting, cost control, and sales performance monitoring.
n
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations, with a commitment to compliance.
n
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers.
n
- Organisational and time-management skills to prioritise tasks and drive operational efficiency.

Salary: $80,000- $85,000 Plus Superannuation per annum Hours: Full-Time, 38 Hours Week Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
