About the Role As our Assistant Centre Manager/Educational Leader, you'll work closely with the Centre Director to support the day‑to‑day operation of the service while leading educational practice across the centre.

Key responsibilities include:

Mentoring and supporting educators to deliver engaging, play‑based learning programs

Leading curriculum development in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Guiding observation, planning, and assessment practices

Driving continuous improvement and quality outcomes

Supporting compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF)



and National Quality Standards (NQS)

Building strong relationships with children, families, and the local community

Assisting with leadership and operational responsibilities across the service

Contributing to a positive, supportive, and high‑performing team culture

About You We're looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys bringing out the best in others.

You will have:

A Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care

Previous leadership experience, or the passion and capability to take the next step in your career

Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, and NQS

Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills

The ability to coach, mentor, and inspire a team

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

A current Working with Children Check

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
