About the Role As a Travel Anaesthetic / PACU Registered Nurse in Grafton or Lismore, NSW, you will provide high‑quality perioperative nursing care across the anaesthetic and post‑anaesthetic recovery areas. Working alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams, you will support patients throughout their surgical journey while maintaining the highest standards of safety and clinical care.

Key responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care within Anaesthetic and PACU settings

Assist anaesthetists during induction, maintenance, and emergence of anaesthesia





Monitor and assess patients during post‑operative recovery

Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration and emergency situations

Administer medications and manage post‑operative pain in accordance with clinical protocols

Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records

Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and perioperative best‑practice guidelines

What you'll need

Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse)

Recent Anaesthetic and PACU nursing experience

Demonstrated ability to work confidently within perioperative environments

ALS certification desirable

Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills

Australian working rights (contract role – no sponsorship available)
