Production Machine Operator | $34hr | Immediate Start

We are currently seeking an experienced Production Worker / Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing operation based at Brisbane Airport.

n

You will be working with tiles and stone products, operating machinery, completing manual handling tasks and ensuring finished products meet the required quality standards.

n

This role will suit someone who is physically fit, reliable, safety conscious and comfortable working at a steady pace.

n

- Ongoing Monday to Friday work

- Day shift: 6:00am – 2:06pm
n

ABOUT THE ROLE

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Operating production machinery and equipment
n
- Cutting, shaping and finishing tiles and stone products
n
- Using measuring and cutting equipment safely and accurately
n
- Handling tiles and materials weighing up to 23kg
n
- Loading, moving and positioning products throughout the production process
n
- Ensuring finished products meet required quality standards
n
- Working efficiently to meet daily production targets
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area




n
- Following all WHS and safety procedures
n
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members
n
- Performing other general production duties as required
n
- Previous factory or manufacturing experience is highly regarded.
n

We are looking for someone who:

- Has previous factory, manufacturing or production experience
n
- Is physically fit and capable of lifting 23kg repeatedly throughout the day
n
- Has excellent attention to detail
n
- Takes pride in the quality of their work
n
- Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
n
- Is reliable and punctual
n
- Is comfortable performing repetitive manual handling tasks
n
- Works well as part of a team
n
- A Forklift Licence will be highly regarded but is not essential.
n

To be considered for this position, you must:

- Have your own reliable vehicle and current driver's licence
n
- Be physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual handling
n
- Be available for ongoing Monday to Friday day shift work
n
- Have full working rights in Australia
