Senior Manager / Business Services Manager West Perth | Up to $150,000 + super | Pathway to Partnership People2people is partnering with an established boutique accounting practice in West Perth to recruit an experienced Senior Manager / Business Services Manager.

This is a hands-on leadership position for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys managing client relationships, developing people and providing practical business advice—not simply reviewing numbers.

The successful candidate will manage a high-quality portfolio of private wealth, family and investment client groups while leading a team of local and offshore accountants. For someone with the right capability and ambition, there is a genuine long-term chance to progress to Partnership as part of the firm’s succession planning.

The Role Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing a portfolio of large and high-net-worth private client groups

Acting as a trusted adviser and key point of contact for clients

Providing taxation, accounting and commercial business advice

Reviewing financial statements, tax returns and compliance work

Remaining hands-on with complex client matters and technical issues

Leading, mentoring and developing local and offshore accountants

Managing workflow, deadlines and quality standards across the team

Working closely with the Partners on client strategy and firm initiatives





Identifying opportunities to provide additional value to clients

Contributing to the firm’s continued growth and succession planning

About You To be successful, you will have:

CA or CPA qualification

Strong Australian public practice experience

Current experience at Manager or Senior Manager level

Experience managing large, complex and high-net-worth client groups

Strong taxation, accounting and business advisory knowledge

Demonstrated leadership and people-management capability

Excellent communication and client relationship skills

A commercial, practical and solutions-focused approach

The confidence to work directly with senior clients and stakeholders

A hands-on approach and willingness to remain involved in client work

The ambition and capability to progress toward Partnership

Experience using Xero and MYOB would be advantageous. The successful candidate will also be required to obtain a police clearance.
