Full-time; Salary $65,000 to $70,000 plus superannuation.
Role Overview: As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising, coordinating and training the food and beverage staff to ensure a high level of customer service is delivered to our guests. You will be responsible for ensuring that customers are served in a professional and timely manner, while also taking care of their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the work of food and beverage staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
Train new staff members and provide ongoing training for existing staff to maintain high levels of customer service
Ensure that all staff members adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies
Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and drinks to ensure quality and consistency
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, including the dining area, kitchen, and storage areas
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Create and implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and special events
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales
Assist with administrative tasks, such as payroll, inventory management, and budgeting
Requirements:
At least 12 months of prior experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or in a similar role
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional service
Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Proven ability to train and develop staff members
Robust problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
