We have an prospect for an Accountant or experienced Bookkeeper to join the team at our office in the Southern Highlands, NSW. This full or part-time role will see you providing high-quality client focused accounting services to a diverse range of clients.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Preparing and lodging tax returns for individuals, Self-Managed Superfunds and business clients
n
- Providing taxation planning, small business advice and strategic guidance
n
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
n
- Collaborating with clients to understand their unique financial needs and objectives
n
- Maintaining detailed client records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
n




- At least 1-5 years' experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper, preferably in a public practice environment
n
- An understanding of relevant Australian tax legislation and regulations such as CGT, GCT and BAS
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
n
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality work on a timely basis
n
- Competency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, BGL and Handisoft
n
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset
