An established Brisbane law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Lawyer to join its plaintiff personal injury practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a capable lawyer who is ready to take ownership of a diverse caseload while working closely with senior practitioners. You will manage matters from initial client instruction through to resolution, providing high-quality legal advice, strong advocacy and exceptional client care.

Your caseload will include motor vehicle accident, public liability and WorkCover claims within the Queensland jurisdiction.

About the Role

You will manage a portfolio of plaintiff personal injury matters, providing strategic advice and representation throughout the claims process.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing personal injury matters from initial instruction through to resolution
- Handling motor vehicle accident, WorkCover and public liability claims
- Conducting initial client consultations and assessing liability,



quantum and prospects
- Developing case strategies in consultation with senior practitioners
- Preparing and lodging claims within relevant legislative timeframes
- Gathering medical reports, expert opinions, witness statements and employment records
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings, settlement submissions and other legal documents
- Briefing counsel and liaising with medico-legal experts
- Representing clients during negotiations, mediations and compulsory conferences
- Preparing for and representing clients in court proceedings where required
- Maintaining strong client relationships throughout what can often be a difficult period in their lives

About You

You are an experienced plaintiff personal injury lawyer who combines strong technical capability with empathy, commercial judgement and a genuine commitment to achieving positive outcomes for clients.

You will bring:

- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD)
- Admission as a legal practitioner in Queensland
- Minimum 3 years post-admission experience in plaintiff personal injury law
- Demonstrated Queensland experience across CTP, WorkCover and/or public liability matters
- Strong knowledge of relevant Queensland personal injury legislation
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
- Strong client management and communication skills
- Ability to manage sensitive and complex matters professionally
- Sound commercial judgement and a high level of integrity
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
