To help us achieve this we are seeking applications from enthusiastic and proactive individuals wishing to commence a career as an Electrical Apprentice. This full-time, four-year apprenticeship offers
n hands‐on experience working on important community infrastructure and provides
n paid study time to complete your Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician at Port Macquarie TAFE.

n

As part of our
n team, you'll gain practical skills working on:

n

n
- Electrical infrastructure construction projects
n
- Three-phase motors and control switchboard installations
n
- Industrial wiring for water and sewer processing plants
n
- Maintenance of high voltage water supply pumping stations
n
- Community assets including airports, sporting fields, event centres, pools, buildings, waste management and emergency services facilities
n
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment to a high standard
n

n

You'll also gain valuable exposure
n and experience working with other trades across mechanical, instrumentation,
n data communications and automation systems broadening your skill set and future
n opportunities.

n

We are looking for individuals who are:

n

n
- Willing to learn on the job and ask questions
n
- Interested in maintaining and improving community facilities
n
- Team players with strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
n
- Safety-conscious, committed to working safely for yourself and others
n
- Able to commit to study requirements and complete training in a timely and organised way
n
- Hold a current Driver's License (Red P's or more)
n
- Hold a current general construction induction card (white card) or ability to obtain prior to commencement
n
- Able to comply with uniform and PPE requirements,



including while at TAFE
n

Remuneration and Benefits:

n

Employment type: Full-time, four-year
n apprenticeship with paid study time (38 hours per week with a 9-day fortnight)

Salary (exclusive of super): Starting from $865.85 to $1043.99 per week depending on school level obtained and experience.
