Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturer of fibre cement products and systems for residential and commercial building applications. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Driver / Machine Operator to join their manufacturing and warehouse team based in Blacktown.

This is a versatile role where you will operate a counterbalance forklift, move materials and finished products, and assist with machine operation and general factory duties. The role involves manual handling and occasional heavy lifting and is Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

n

You will be working across both the warehouse and manufacturing areas, with duties include:

n

- Operating a counterbalance forklift to move raw materials, products and finished goods
n
- Loading and unloading products from machines, pallets and production areas
n
- Moving and positioning fibre cement sheets and forms
n
- Assisting with machine operation and production processes
n
- Feeding and removing materials from machinery as required
n
- Manual handling of raw materials and finished products
n
- Ensuring products are correctly positioned and stored
n
- General warehouse and factory duties
n




- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
n
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
n
- Current forklift licence (LF)
n
- Previous counterbalance forklift experience
n
- Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience highly regarded
n
- Physically fit and able to comfortably lift 20-25kg
n
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
n
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
n
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
