St Michael’s Grammar School is seeking an exceptional andexperienced Physical Education and Health Teacher to join ourSenior School in a full time, ongoing capacity from the start of2027. The successful candidate will have proven success in teachingVCE Physical Education and a demonstrated commitment toprofessional networks and growth, ideally through service as a VCEExaminer. Full-time teachers at St Michael’s enjoy outstandingconditions, with 18.5 hours per week of face-to-face instructionthat typically includes the equivalent of four full classes and aHouse Tutor responsibility within our celebrated pastoral care andwellbeing program.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Foster a safe and supportive learning environment thatpromotes student growth and resilience
- Deliver engaging and inclusive Health, PE and Wellbeingprograms across various year levels
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum andco-curricular initiatives
- Contribute to the School’s vibrant sporting and wellbeingculture

What We’re Looking For:

- Holds relevant teaching qualifications and VITregistration
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of contemporary Healthand PE pedagogy
- Is committed to student wellbeing and holisticeducation
- Values collaboration, innovation and continuousprofessional growth
- Anaphylaxis Management trained
- Level II First Aid Certificate, CPR and Anaphylacticcertification is essential
- National Police History Check (Obtained within the last sixmonths)
