We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated person looking to commence their career within the cabinet making and joinery industry. This is a unique opportunity to complete an apprenticeship with a nationally recognised qualification in Cabinet Making. This is a hands‑on apprenticeship where you will begin learning from day one.

As a cabinet maker with Porta, you will be exposed to many areas of our business by rotating between our Somersby and Charmhaven factories, as well as our Construction and Warranty teams. This will provide you with hands‑on experience across the full joinery Process,



including the manufacture and installation of new kitchens, bathrooms, office fit‑outs, reception counters and other custom joinery projects, as well as the repair and maintenance of existing kitchens and bathrooms

We’re looking for applicants who have:

- Completed year 10 at school
- Strong problem‑solving skills
- Attention to detail quality and safety
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong computer literacy
- Reliable transportation across the Central Coast
