Are you an experienced, self-motivated Handyperson with a passion for hospitality? Mercure Sydney Parramatta is currently hiring a Handyperson to join our dynamic team.

Located just minutes from Parramatta CBD and directly across from Rosehill Racecourse, our hotel serves a diverse mix of business and leisure travelers. As the Handyperson, you will play an essential role in maintaining the hotel's facilities to ensure a safe, comfortable and well-presented environment for our guests and team.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for:

- Undertaking general repairs and maintenance as well as preventative maintenance throughout the Hotel.
n
- Complete daily plant rounds and servicing of plant and general equipment as directed.
n
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly.
n
- Carry out maintenance requirements and follow up as scheduled by the Property management System (PMS).
n




- Assist in keeping up-to-date records on the repair and maintenance of plant and equipment.
n

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all maintenance activities.

n

What We're Looking For:

n

n
- Previous experience in a similar role or hospitality environment is an advantage but not essential
n
- The ability to work both unsupervised and in a team environment.
n
- The ability to working rotating shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
n
- Good organisational and multitasking skills.
n
