Account Manager (Activations, Retail + Print)

Reporting to: Group Account Director

Location: Sydney (Lane Cove West)

As an Account Manager at Dashing, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing retail campaigns, print, point-of-sale, brand activations and installations across a diverse client portfolio.

You’ll be a key day-to-day contact for your clients, building trusted relationships and managing campaigns from initial brief through to production and final execution. Working closely with Creative, Production, suppliers and installation partners, you’ll ensure every campaign is delivered smoothly, on time, within budget and to an exceptional standard.

This role suits an experienced Account Manager who combines exceptional client service with strong print and production knowledge. You’ll be highly organised, commercially aware and confident managing multiple campaigns, competing priorities and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

Client service and campaign management

- Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted day-to-day partner
- Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business, brand, objectives and campaign requirements
- Act as the central point of contact between clients and Dashing’s internal teams
- Manage end-to-end client campaigns from initial brief through to production, delivery and installation
- Translate client requirements into clear, accurate and actionable briefs
- Lead client WIP meetings and provide clear updates on campaign progress, timelines, risks and solutions
- Manage client expectations while ensuring timelines, budgets, quality standards and deliverables are consistently met
- Deliver responsive, solutions-focused service that builds confidence and strengthens long-term client relationships
- Identify risks, commercial concerns and opportunities early, escalating these to the Group Account Director where required

Production and execution

- Oversee print, point-of-sale, visual merchandising and activation production, including estimates, bookings, approvals, logistics and installations
- Coordinate artwork uploads, distribution lists, install guides, run sheets and other campaign documentation
- Review estimates, specifications, materials and production requirements to ensure alignment with the approved client brief
- Maintain accurate and current internal and external WIPs, campaign trackers and project information
- Coordinate internal teams, suppliers, subcontractors and installation partners to support seamless delivery
- Use Zendesk, Dashing’s Portal, Monday.com and other systems to manage workflows, queries and campaign activity
- Identify and resolve production, delivery and installation challenges quickly
- Deliver campaigns on time, within budget and to an exceptional standard

Strategic insight and continuous improvement

- Stay informed about retail trends, competitor activity, materials, production techniques and emerging activation opportunities
- Share relevant insights and ideas that add value to client relationships and campaign outcomes
- Contribute to campaign debriefs and capture practical learnings and improvement opportunities
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows,



improve quality and strengthen commercial outcomes
- Support the development and refinement of account management processes, tools and templates
- Embrace a continuous improvement mindset by actively looking for ways to improve, streamline and innovate

Collaboration and culture

- Work closely with Creative, Production, Client Service, Procurement and Install teams to deliver seamless campaigns
- Attend daily team huddles and regular client WIP meetings to remain aligned, informed and proactive
- Build effective working relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and other campaign stakeholders
- Support and guide Account Coordinators, helping them develop their skills and confidence
- Take ownership of client and campaign outcomes while knowing when to consult, collaborate or escalate
- Contribute positively to a collaborative, team-first culture
- Be a Dashing ambassador by living our values and setting a high standard for quality, service and professionalism

About you

Experience and expertise

- 5+ years of account management experience, ideally within print, point-of-sale, retail marketing, brand activations or a related environment
- Demonstrated experience managing client campaigns from brief through to production, delivery and installation
- Solid technical print knowledge, including estimating and working with suppliers and installers
- Experience delivering visual merchandising, retail displays or fabricated solutions using materials such as timber, metal and acrylic
- A solid understanding of campaign coordination, physical production and brand experience execution
- Experience managing budgets, estimates, timelines and campaign documentation
- Confidence working directly with clients and managing day-to-day stakeholder expectations
- Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

- Commercially aware, with a sharp eye for opportunity, risk and campaign profitability

- Calm under pressure and able to make confident decisions without compromising quality
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering work to an exceptional standard
- Approachable, collaborative and team-focused, with a healthy dose of wit and diplomacy
- Comfortable working autonomously, taking ownership and navigating shifting priorities
- Proficient across Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and project management systems
- Experience using Monday.com, Zendesk or PrintIQ is advantageous
