Fleurieu & Hills Insurance is seeking an experienced Account Manager or Internal Account Manager to join our team in Strathalbyn. You will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and identifying opportunities for business growth. This role is integral to our continued success in the insurance brokerage sector and offers a strategic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our client base.
Key responsibilities
- Managing existing client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within your client portfolio
- Providing expert advice to clients on insurance products, coverage options, and tailored to their needs
- Preparing and presenting insurance proposals and quotes to prospective and existing clients
- Coordinating with underwriters and insurance providers to secure appropriate coverage and competitive premiums for clients
- Processing policy renewals, amendments and administrative changes efficiently and accurately
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, insurers, and internal team members
- Providing administrative support as required to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction
What we're looking for
- Minimum Requirement - 3 years Insurance Broking experience in a similar role and hold Tier 1 &/or Tier 2
- Proven experience in insurance brokerage, account management, or a related customer-facing role within the insurance industry
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, policies, and the brokerage process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to identify client needs and provide tailored solutions that generate business growth
- Proficiency with insurance software systems and general computer literacy
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Reliable, professional demeanour with excellent attention to detail
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service in all interactions
