Role Description The Accounting & Finance Intern will support the finance team with day-to-day tasks in an on-site role based in West End, QLD.

Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation and review of financial statements, posting and reconciling journal entries, and maintaining accurate financial records. The intern will help with data entry into accounting software, basic financial analysis, and preparation of reports for internal stakeholders. This internship role also involves supporting month-end closing activities, helping with invoicing and expense tracking,



and collaborating with team members on process improvements.

The position is designed to provide practical experience in a professional setting and exposure to finance operations within a technology-focused organization.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Financial Statements and Finance to support core reporting and analysis tasks.
- Candidates should possess skills in Accounting Software and Journal Entries (Accounting) for accurate data entry and record-keeping.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and identify trends or discrepancies.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to follow established procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic familiarity with financial reporting tools.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and manage tasks responsibly under supervision.
